Taking LNG tank containers as research objects, the strength reserve and displacement field of the tank were given by establishing its finite element model under stacking test conditions. The stacking buckling of the tank frame structure under multiple real loads was analyzed and calculated by using the Block Lanczos method, and the buckling modes of the frame and the corresponding critical loads were given. The strength distribution, the weakness, stability modes and macro stability reserves of the tank structure were clarified. It was concluded that the weak parts of the tank under stacking test conditions were upper frame short section and connection between frame and tank. The upper frame short section was the preferred location for stiffness reinforcement. In addition, the analysis shows that the stability of the tank frame is high and strength is the primary consideration in the design of this type of tank frame. This paper provided a reference for the design and check of the strength and stability of similar structures.

As a new type of high⁃efficiency mixing equipment, static mixers are widely used in industrial production due to their good mixing effect and simple operation. In this paper, the SK type static mixer was introduced into the crude oil storage tank to solve the problem of uneven distribution of crude oil density. The three⁃dimensional incompressible flow field was numerically simulated by FLUENT. The Eulerian multiphase flow model was used to simulate the velocity field, concentration field, temperature field and pressure field of the fluid in the static mixer. The results show that: under the action of the spiral blades of the static mixer, the crude oil moves cyclically along the opposite direction of the blade and changes periodically. Through the cutting, shearing and rotating action of the crude oil, the oil is almost completely mixed at the exit, which shows that SK static mixer has better mixing effect and less pressure loss and can reduce the energy consumption cost.

The wormlike sealing ring is located in the sealed groove of Dn1160 type pressure sintering furnace, which is prone to tear and damage. This article uses the finite element analysis method to nonlinear contact analysis of wormlike ring. The Von Mises stress and contact stress of worm⁃shaped rings are numerically simulated by Ansys software, and the results are compared. The cracking failure characteristics and easy tearing positions of worm⁃shaped rings under different parameters and working conditions are obtained. At the same time, the research results of predecessors are consulted to further optimize ring sealing ability. Finally, the research results provide a new idea for the design and optimization of the same kind of seal ring.

The rectangular beams were widely used in architectural engineering, cracks would be appeared with the increase of service life and some human factors, and any cracks in it might cause hidden risks. The SIF was a physical quantity that reflected the elastic stress field of the crack tip, which was related to the size of the crack, the geometrical characteristic of the component and the load. Meanwhile, it was very important to find a simple method to solve the SIF for not only the fracture theory but also engineering application, as it was a key content of fracture mechanics. In previous studies, the shape of initial crack must be known to get SIF, but it was very difficult to be seen under the condition of test. This paper took the bending beam as an example, a new method to formulize the SIF for three kinds of cracks in rectangular beam under bending load was proposed by the basis of the conservation

were studied based on the geometrical modeling for stress singularity boundary multi-direction cracking, the energy release rate and the energy-based driving force of crack side-branching and kinking had been established, and the critical initiation angle or the critical stress intensity factor had also been calculated. The prediction of critical crack kinking angle by the present theory had a good agreement with 2024-T3, and the deviation was estimated to be 8.9% when compared with En3B and Al.

The finite element method is used to analyze the nonlinear contact of the wormlike sealing ring in Dn1160 high-pressure sintering furnace. Using Ansys 14.5 to simulate the Von Mises stress under different static. Through the contact deformation, contact stress and the distribution of the stress, the easily crack position and service life of the wormlike sealing ring can be reflected. Then discuss the effects of different system pressure, notch radius, seal clearance, friction coefficient on the sealing performance. So as to evaluate the sealing performance of the wormlike sealing ring.

The finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to propose a parametric model of the quickopening structure with toothlocked sintering furnace cover. The structure design was optimized by using weight parameter as the objective function and using allowable stress as constraints. Based on the optimal sizes the intensity design requirements were met and the weight of the structure was reduced effectively. Data reference for the similar quickopening structure design was given in this paper.

The grid of the quickopening clamp structure on the pressure sintering furnace was meshed by utilizing HyperMesh software, and the nonlinear contact analysis for the quickopening structure was achieved by ANSYS contact element, then the third strength equivalent stress and deformation of the quickopening structure under the designed pressure were obtained. The analyses of the furnace lid, body and clamp were accomplished. The stress intensity on the dangerous crosssection was evaluated according to JB4732—1995 [WTBX]Steel pressure vessels——analyze design standard[WTBZ]. The analysis results indicate that the intensity requirement is satisfied.

In the finite element ANSYS software established simplified structure model, simplified the structure into axisymmetric model, alternated the structure size. Using order flow to compute stress intensity factor around the singularity, then analysed the relation between the stress intensity factor and the structure size and compared to the calculation by Jintegral. The results show that the application of J integral calculation KⅠ has feasibility.
